You have the right to request deletion of your Skodz account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains what is deleted, what is retained for legal reasons, and how to submit a request.
This is the fastest method. Your account is deleted immediately after password confirmation.
Make sure you are signed in to the account you wish to delete.
Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap Settings.
Scroll to the bottom of Settings and tap Delete my account. Confirm by entering your password when prompted.
Your account is deleted immediately. You will be signed out and your data will be scheduled for permanent removal within 30 days.
If you can no longer access the app, email us at privacy@skodz.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address or phone number registered to your account. We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation once complete.
Identity verification: To protect your account, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing an email deletion request.

Certain data must be retained after account deletion to comply with Nigerian financial regulations and our obligations to other users:

All retained records are anonymised — your name, email, and contact details are removed. Records are linked only to an internal reference ID.
Barber accounts follow the same process. Before deletion is finalised, any active or confirmed bookings will be cancelled and customers notified. Outstanding payouts will be processed using your last registered bank account before deletion.
